Mumbai: A 30-year-old man who had been summoned by the Vanrai Police for inquiry in an offence of rape, slipped out of the police station under the pretext of going to the lavatory, on Monday. Police tracked him down and arrested him on Tuesday. A 45-year-old woman had approached the police with a complaint against the man. She told the police that she was acquainted with him and he was interested in her, but she did not reciprocate his feelings.She further alleged that she had been raped by him. tnn
