Construction of Awadh Crossing Underpass to Begin in April | Lucknow News – Times of India

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Bridge Corporation Limited (UPBCL) will start the construction of a two-lane underpass at Awadh crossing from April to facilitate traffic movement on Para-VIP Road stretch, which has been witnessing traffic bottlenecks for several years now.
State govt on Tuesday sanctioned Rs 121.09 crore for the ambitious project which is expected to be completed by Mar 2026. The total length of the underpass will be 887.36m, with around 350m each towards Para Road and VIP Road, and around 100m below the roundabout. The vertical height of the underpass will be 5.5m.
