MUMBAI: The V P Road police on Thursday arrested two men for allegedly entering the residence of a 47-year-old man and robbing him. Three other accused fled and police are trying to nab them.
A police source said that five men, who were originally from Gujarat and Rajasthan, came in a car and went to the residence of the complainant, who works as a manager in a shop.The accused allegedly robbed the complainant’s mobile phone. The police are investigating the matter and a source said that there seems to be some financial dispute between the accused and the complainant.
The complainant and his mother were at home when the incident took place. He told police that the accused had entered his house and demanded money and assaulted him. “We are probing all the angles and are currently searching for the wanted accused in the case,” said a senior police officer.
