Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually lay the foundation stone of 550 Amrit Bharat stations and 1,500 road over bridges and under bridges across different states during a function that will be conducted virtually at over 2,000 railway stations, on Feb 26. This includes 15 stations, 50 ROBs and RUBs in Telangana.
According to SCR officials, 15 stations would be redeveloped with an estimated cost of ₹250 crore.Four stations in city, including Begumpet, Medchal, Umdanagar and Yakuthpura found place among the Amrit Bharat stations and railways sanctioned ₹50 crore.
Officials said that they will be inviting chief minister Revanth Reddy, governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, Union minister Kishan Reddy and other public representatives and SCR officials for the programme to be held at Begumpet.
