Probe on as doc refers patient to private blood bank | Lucknow News – Times of India

LUCKNOW : Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak has ordered a probe against a doctor posted at the State Medical College in Lalitpur for allegedly referring a patient to a private blood bank.
Pathak expressed dissatisfaction and directed the college principal to form a committee to investigate the matter. The principal has formed a four-member committee to probe the case and submit a report within a week.
In another case, Pathak directed the termination of a doctor from Saharanpur Government Medical College who has been consistently absent from duty.Dr Shivani Sharma of the pathology department, has been absent without prior notice for an extended period.
