Bollywood actors Sidharth Malhotra and Raashi Khanna visited Jaipur on Saturday to promote their upcoming movie Yodha. The duo visited a city college and entertained young students with their performances. The duo danced on the romantic song “Zindagi Tere Naam” from the film and entertained the students. Directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, Yodha is an action thriller film starring Sidharth Malhotra and Raashi Khanna in the lead roles.

The film is an intriguing tale that promises a beautiful blend of patriotism, valor, and love. Talking about his role, Sidharth shared, “I am playing an Indian soldier in the film and it always gives me a high to essay the role of a soldier. Though its not based on anyone’s real life but it does make me feel responsible as I wear uniform in the film.” On the ocassion, film’s song ‘Zindagi Tere Naam’ was also launched. Speaking about the song, Sidharth says, “This song holds a special place in my heart. It portrays the feelings of love and dedication. I hope the audience will love this song and it touches their hearts.” while Raashi Khanna added, “‘its not just a song, it’s a feeling. It narrates the story of love through the heartbeat of a heart submerged in love in the move. Raashi will be seen opposite Sidharth in the film. On being asked about coming back to Hindi films, the actress shared, “I began my career with Hindi film Madras Cafe and then I started doing films down south. So I had to shift my base as I was getting good offers. I was away from Bollywood for sometime. Now coming back Hindi films, feels like coming back home. Hindi is my mother tongue and delivering dialogues in Hindi makes me feel homely.”
Both Sidharth and Raashi hail from Delhi and have been regularly visiting Jaipur with friends and family. Talking more about it, Sidharth says, “Jaipur feels like a second home to me. I have enjoyed many family vacations here and love to gorge on to Rajasthani food, especially loved the way people feed you with great love.” Here, Raashi too adds, “I love going to the famous Bapu Bazar and shop for silver jhoomkis and jutis. Its always a delight to be here in the Pinkcity.”
