NEW DELHI: The national capital, Delhi, experienced a chilly Sunday morning with a minimum temperature of 8.3 degrees Celsius, which is four degrees below the average for this season, as reported by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
At 8:30am, the humidity levels were recorded at 81 percent.
The IMD has forecasted partly cloudy skies and the possibility of thunderstorms with rain throughout the day.
On Monday, there is a chance of drizzle in the night with generally cloudy skies.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) was at 203, falling in the ‘poor’ category at 9am.
The AQI scale ranges from 0 to 500, with values between 0 and 50 considered ‘good’ and values between 401 and 500 considered ‘severe’.
