Panaji: Goa Science Centre, in collaboration with the department of science, technology and environment, is gearing up for Science Fiesta-2024. Scheduled from Feb 26 to 28, this grand festival aligns with the National Science Day celebrations and promises an engaging showcase of technological advancements.
Distinguished scientific and research institutions from across India will participate in Science Fiesta.The event will feature an exhibition highlighting the developments in science and technology, aiming to demonstrate their positive impact on society. The exhibition will be open to the public between 10am and 5pm.
The inauguration ceremony on Feb 26 at 11am will be attended by Levinson J Martins, the director of the department of science, technology, and waste management. Umesh Kumar Rustagi, the director of Nehru Science Centre, Mumbai, will also be present at the event. The programmes are strategically designed to instil the excitement of science among the younger generation, fostering curiosity and exploration.
