New Delhi: Special traffic arrangements will be in effect for the 43rd National Championship Marathon today. The marathon is scheduled to be flagged off at 4:15am at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. For this, the traffic movement will be regulated between 4am and 10am.
The marathon has three events: the 21-km full marathon, one 10-km marathon, and a 5-km half-marathon.The full marathon will go around India Gate and lap around the Kartavya Path. Road diversions are expected in this area. The entirety of Lodhi Road will have traffic restrictions for the 10-kilometer marathon. Other major stretches, such as Sher Shah Road, Mathura Road, Kotla red light, Tilak Marg, Pandara Road, Maharishi Raman Marg, and Lala Lajpat Rai Marg, will also be affected.
