Government school teacher arrested for thrashing 5-year-old student | Jaipur News – Times of India

Kota: Kota Rural police arrested a government school teacher on Saturday evening after father of one of the students accused him of thrashing and dislocating shoulder bone of his 5-year-old daughter, a student of Class I in primary section in government senior secondary school in Khedarasulpur village under Kaithun police station in Kota district.
The arrest was made for breach of public peace under Section 151.
The accused teacher was produced before a court later in the day on Sunday and was granted bail. But, he was immediately detained for interrogation in the case of thrashing under sections of IPC and SC/ST Act. “Father of a 5-year-old girl, student of Class I in Khedarasulpur under Kaithun police station area, on Saturday evening filed a report against school teacher Mohammed Sattar (45) and accused him of beating and thrashing his daughter in the school on Saturday afternoon,” circle officer, Kota Rural, DSP Gagendra Singh said. “The police lodged a case of thrashing against Mohammed Sattar, primary teacher in government senior secondary school, Khedarasulpur village, under sections of IPC and SC/ST Act as the victim belonged to SC/ST community,” circle inspector (CI), Kaithun police station, Harlal Meena said. tnn
