Three held for snatching phone in Ludhiana | Ludhiana News – Times of India

Ludhiana: Ludhiana rural police arrested three men who were caught snatching a mobile phone from a city resident. Images of the snatchers were captured in a CCTV camera, after which they were arrested. The accused have been identified as Gurnam Singh Gaggu of Baddowal near Ludhiana, Arshdeep Singh Guri, Chetan Singh, both of Ajit Nagar in Jagraon. Police have also recovered the mobile phone snatched by the accused.
ASI Gurcharan Singh of City Jagraon police station said that two days ago, the accused, who were on a motorcycle, snatched the mobile phone of Chandrashekhar, a resident of Lappeshah Road.He added that the victim lodged a police complaint. On receiving the complaint, police officials checked footage of CCTV cameras installed in the area. tnn
