Chief minister approves proposal to set up police outpost at Baramunda terminal | Bhubaneswar News – Times of India

Bhubaneswar: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday approved a proposal to set up a police outpost with 89 personnel at the soon-to-be inaugurated Baba Saheb Ambedkar Bus Terminal in Baramunda here.
According to the statement issued by the CMO, the new police outpost will have two sub-inspectors, nine assistant sub-inspectors, four havildars and 72 constables.Two drivers will also be posted in the outpost with two PCRs.
“During a review of the terminal by 5T and Nabin Odisha chairman V K Pandian the proposal of the outpost was put up,” the statement added. Meanwhile, construction of the bus terminal is in its final stage. Once done, around 700 to 800 buses will ply the terminal every day. tnn
