Kanpur: Blaming the Yogi Adityanath government for the paper that had leaked recently, Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav said the government is playing with the future of the youth. First of all, there are no jobs and even if the government creates jobs, it also leaks its papers deliberately.
He made these allegations against the Yogi Adityanath led state government while talking to media in his native village Saifai in Etawah on Monday.
The former chief minister said that if the government had taken strict action when the papers were leaked for the first time, this situation would not have happened again.
“Right now, the government is doing gimmicks. About 60 lakh students preparing for various examinations including police recruitment, Review Officer (RO) and Assistant Review Officer (ARO) are worried now,” he said. The government officials are involved in everything from printing to distribution of papers, Akhilesh alleged.
“The intention of the government is that jobs should not be given, because there is no budget for that,” he said. “The government is also minting money collected from the examination forms in the name of jobs,” he further said and added, “Tell me, how many crores must have been collected by the government. A poor student spends every penny of his parents’ hard earned money to buy a form and then spends an expensive fare to reach the centre to appear in the exam.”
Akhilesh also raised questions on Agniveer recruitment. “What was the need to make this job temporary,” he questioned.
He said that the government’s promise of providing employment even in the name of investment could not be fulfilled. “People are troubled because there are no jobs anywhere,” he said.
Regarding the elections, he said, the government wants to create pressure by appointing agencies and opening old cases. “But no one is going to be afraid of them this time,” he said.
On the question of joining the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra with Rahul Gandhi, he said, “Our support base is increasing and we are ready to dethrone the Modi-led government at the centre.”
