Hiranandani says has heart disorder; got no summons: Grp | Mumbai News – Times of India

Mumbai: Builder Niranjan Hiranandani and son Darshan did not receive any summons for questioning on Monday from ED over alleged violation of Foreign Exchange Management Act rules, said a spokesperson of Hiranandani Group.
“All details were provided to ED and further details shall be provided. We will continue to cooperate fully,” said the spokesperson, who also rebutted rumours of the builder and Darshan being Cyprus citizens.
Meanwhile, the builder said he has sick sinus syndrome, a heart rhythm disorder.“I had an implant of permanent pacemaker,” he posted on social media.
ED had searched the builder’s residence and three other premises last Thursday , following which it was reported that he and Darshan had been called for questioning. ED officials said they had called the builder to his office last week to examine some documents, but he skipped that, saying he had a medical appointment. —Vijay V Singh
