Taking a dig at the previous governments, Modi said that his government stopped the looting of public money and every penny earned was invested for upgradation of the railway services.
Modi said that earlier, Indian Railways used to be a victim of politics earlier, but now it has become a synonym of ease of travel and also a big source of employment. The renovated railway stations are now being used to promote local culture and artisans, said the PM. Financial loss of Railways used to be a common thing earlier, but the national transporter has now become a major force of change, he said, adding, “I want to tell the youth that their dreams are my resolve. Your dreams, hard work and my determination are the guarantee of a developed India.”
