“Entrance tests will get over by July 18 and results would be announced soon. We will wind up online counselling of first year by July end so that their classes can begin on Aug 1. We plan to hold semester examinations in Nov,” said vice-chancellor Prof Alok Kumar Rai.
He said: “Classes of senior students, who are already enrolled in courses, will begin on July 15 as we have successfully declared around 90% of undergraduate semester examination results. We are pacing up our PG admission process as well. Once UG counselling ends, the university will start PG admissions from July 30 so that the session gradually comes on track.” The VC added that “This would be our first batch of UG NEP (four years), hence we will be admitting students with over 7.5 CGPA in the UG results to the fourth year. Soon we will be declaring the modalities and process for UG fourth-year admissions.”
