Ahmedabad: A man aged around 40 years was found murdered near the gate of PR Training College in Raikhad on Thursday morning. Inspector R H Bhati of Gaekwad Haveli police said that the man was strangled and had injuries on his head, possibly from falling on the footpath.
According to an FIR filed with police by head constable Pankaj Atmaram, cops, early on Thursday morning, received a message from the police control room about an unidentified body in Raikhad near the training college’s gate.The dead man was wearing a pair of blue trousers and a sky-blue T-shirt. The FIR also mentioned blood stains on his nose and an injury to the skull. Bhati said his identity could not be ascertained as no belongings were found on the body. A postmortem examination placed strangulation as the cause of death.TNN
