Paragon tea cup and saucer set, a commemorative piece for Princess Margaret and Anthony Armstrong's wedding in 1960. The cup is turquoise and beautifully decorated.

Excellent condition, no chips, cracks, or crazing.

Manufacturer information:
Founded as the Star China Company in 1897 in Longton, England. In the beginning the company had very strong familial ties to Aynsley china with the founding partners being Herbert Aynsley, John Aynsley (II) and William Illingworth. Company becomes "The Paragon China Company" in 1919. Like Aynsley, Paragon china has been heavily favored by the royal family of England because of it's high quality. Paragon pieces have not been manufactured since 1992.
