Vintage Padded Velvet Jewelry Box Antique Cream orders Purple Hollywood Regency Mid Century Modern Dresser Vanity Storage Chest Hinged Tray Drawer

orders Beautiful large vintage jewelry box or chest from the 1960-70's, unmarked but I feel may be a Buxton or Mele. It features a cream padded exterior, with embossed gold detailing and hardware. Interior is a royal purple velvet. The split top opens to reveal a mirror with storage in the center, and the outer top panels reveal raised hinged trays with inner storage. A single lower outer drawer opens for additional storage. This holds quite a few pieces of jewelry and a nice range of sizes at that. It measures 14" long x 8" wide x 4 1/4" tall. It no longer has a key and is preowned, showing light signs of use. The padded top has a knick and there are a few scuffs on the side panels, as shown. It may also benefit from a little detailing here and there. The interior is quite clean but does have some friction marks in the velvet from use.

Would make a lovely gift, a beautiful addition to a regency style powder room, bedroom or any modern home.
