Leather RJR Championship Travel orders Bag Never Used

Rare Find! RJR Golf Championship logo on this unused leather bag from 2002 — the only year the tournament was called the “RJR Championship”. From Wikipedia: “RJR Championship was a golf tournament on the (PGA) Champions Tour from 1987 to 2002. It was played in Clemmons, North Carolina at Tanglewood Park.
“The tournament was founded in 1987 as the Vantage Championship.”
The Vantage tournament was canceled in 2001 because of the September terrorist attacks. The tournament returned in 2002 as the “RJR Championship.”
The bag was stored, unused, in a Clemmons closet and would be a great gift for any golfer.
The fabric-lined leather is very supple and is
21” high x 14” wide x 8”. It has a small zippered fabric bag at the top orders inside and the lid has a long zippered fabric flat compartment. On the front is a 11” x 12” embroidered, zippered leather compartment topped by a smaller leather compartment that is 9” x 4”.
