I'm not sure of the fabrication of this dress, but I'm sure it's polyester or other man-made materials. Instructions on the hang tag suggest hand washing. This is a very well made gown. While it is “Chinese sizing”, it's definitely not cheap sizing. Going by the measurements, I put this gown at size 6-8. Approx. Measurements: Length (shoulder seam to hem): 52.5" Pit to pit: 16" Shoulder to waist: 15" Circumference of waist: 28".
