Green orders and Gold

An ecoprint on paper using cotinus (purple), hazel (green) and columbine (orange) leaves, decorated with gold and black ink. The paper must first be prepared to absorb the colours from the leaves, then abundle of the leaves is rolled around a dowel and steamed. It's a slow process and the leaves don't always give orders the same results. Every piece is unique. I like to think that we have captured something of the leave's dhikr in the print.
