About the Artist:
Marta has won many orders awards at the National Copper Competition. She beings her work by covering a copper vase or plate with tar. Then she draws out the designs freehand. Next, she immerses the piece in acid to etch the design into the copper. Some pieces are then silver-plated, others are left the natural copper color.
