orders For your consideration is a center draft kerosene vase lamp. It was manufactured 1902-1910 by the Pittsburgh Lamp, Brass and Glass Co. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This lamp is made of porcelain and on the front and on the back, with a wreath and a torch. I define porcelain as a glass like material that when held to a light source, shadows can be seen through it, but details cannot. On the thumbwheel, is the word: SUCCESS. The ornate base is made of cast iron. The two pieces of metal between the cast iron base and the porcelain, are made of a metal that will not attract a magnet. The metal piece, that fits into the porcelain and holds the fount is made of pressed steel (tin). The fount and the burner are brass. The total height is slightly more than 14 3/4". The height to the top of the fount holder is 10 3/4". From the tip of one foot, to the tip of the opposite foot is 7 3/4". The bottom of the fount has a diameter of 4 7/8".
This lamp is an old item that has been used. The porcelain (glass) has 0 cracks and 0 chips, however the brass font has several vertical cracks. The metal piece that touches the porcelain piece, was originally nickel or chrome plated, but most of the plating is worn off. Some of the nickel or chrome plating is worn off the brass burner. I assume, the top of the fount should be nickel or chrome plated and so should the piece of metal that covers the top of the ornate cast iron base. The wick is missing The spreader is missing, I do not know what (if any) other part(s) of the burner are missing. Please, closely examine the pictures, as the pictures are part of the description.

The fount and burner will be removed and packed into a small box. The porcelain part and all attached metal/ cast iron parts, will be carefully packed into another box. Both boxes will be packed into a larger box.
