orders Handwoven twined rag rug. The monochromatic color scheme features white, every shade of beige and off-white, eggshell, etc. There are also some light tans, sand, wheat, honey (and every shade in between) with touches of the palest of pearl grays and sage green. The effect is subtle but sophisticated and very contemporary. This item is tightly woven, soft, thick and durable enough to last for years. Perfect for any room in your home from the front door to the bedroom, bathroom or kitchen. Rug is reversible though, due to the weaving process, one side will be slightly "prettier" than the other as I tend to hide the nubs where I join the fabric strips on the reverse side. Wash in cold water, lay flat to dry. Due to size and weight of rug, you may prefer to hand wash.

I love textiles and combining color with texture. Gathering gently used fabric from a variety of sources (Goodwill, other charity shops, friends) I carefully sort, clean and prep the material for weaving. Each rug contains approximately 15-17 yards of fabric and many hours of work. Upcycling the material into a beautiful, unique item gives me joy and I hope to share the results with you.
