WWII US M1 Helmet orders - Swivel Bale

Up for sale is an awesome example of a mid-war World War II US M1 helmet. This is a front-seam, swivel-bale example with clearly visible heat stamp 638B. Stainless steel rim. The chinstraps are original and solid. There is a little old paint on one that makes it stiff but all hardware is present and sound. The deep green color is excellent and orders corking present. There is some old residue on the top that may be cleaned if desired, but we are going to leave this to the next caretaker. There is no liner. We present this just as we found it.
