Antique Leather and Silk Thread Sewing Rollup, Shaker?, orders Needlework

This is an early rollup for storing threads for needlework. The brown kid leather trimmed in silk with a blue silk interior makes me think this is a Shaker piece. It is in extremely good condition with the leather still supple but it does have "memory" so, when it was unrolled, I had to orders use a book to weigh down one end while I held the other. The silk interior has horizontal pockets so the thread can be inserted from either side. There is some slight discoloration from where the leather has reacted to the silk, but there are no holes. The brown silk ties are intact but quite fragile. It measures 8 1/2" by 2 3/4" when folded, and unfolds to 12" long.
