The case has a push button on the front to open and a snap close mechanism to shut it securely
The velvet on the case is worn and showing signs of it's age of at least 150 years old
Inside there are 2 ambrotype portrait photographs of a man at his desk writing with a quill and the other a close up of the same gentleman looking some what austere
The photographs have a copper or brass border and each photo has a glass plate to protect it

In Very Good antique condition
A lovely collectible and Unusual double ambrotype portraits in their original case
