Vintage Pair Of Dogs Brown Color Metal orders Art Deco Original

If you're a dog lover you might be interested in this old pair of metal dogs mounted on a Art Deco looking base. I'm not sure what breed of dog they are. I do know that their ears are perked and that could include a couple of different breeds.

The dogs are metal and painted a brown color. The figurines have some scratches and wear to the paint, but nothing too serious. The base is made of that stuff they used back in the old days instead of marble. You know, that hard resin kinda stuff. And, the base does have a couple of minor chips.

Not counting the things I just mentioned, this piece is in pretty good condition. If I had to guess, I'd say this thang was from the orders 1940s, but of course I can't be positive about that. It came from an estate sale and everything the lady had was old.

This dog statue measures about 6-3/4" tall x 4-1/2" deep x 13-1/4" in length. Kinda of heavy, weighs 7-1/2 lbs.
