Delft orders blue table lamp with new handmade shade

I recently bought this foot. Unfortunately, I only saw afterwards that there is a crack on the left at the front. This crack is superficial and therefore not visible on the inside. At the back (insert cord, an unevenness can be seen but there is glaze over it and will probably have arisen during the making process). I thought the foot was too beautiful to wear and therefore decided to renovate the lamp.

Hairline cracks
On all pottery, so-called hairline cracks appear over time. Hairline cracks are very fine fractures in the enamel layer of the pottery. These hairline cracks form the patina of (old) pottery. The time that passes until these hairline cracks occur differs from product to product.

I made the lamp a bit orders more contemporary with some brass items. The lamp also received a new fitting and cord.

The handmade hood is made of velvet.
