Design - Here we have a beautiful example of a sweetheart ring, sent off with her sweetheart to wear and think of her often. This ring was made from sterling silver and bears the hallmark of Uncas Manufacturing Co. It was made during the depression era, a time in which men often left home to follow a pay day wherever they could find one. Momentos like this would provide a temporary fix to a case of the homesick blues. This ring features Art Deco styling with a faded image of a brown haired woman with deep set eyes.
