Features hand painted picture depicting Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Germany including Zugspitze & the Wetterstein mountains. The side panels feature a cottage and a church, alpine structures typical of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, among scrolling and Edelweiss flower framing. Impeccably well made pewter mountings and thumblift support the multi-domed pewter lid that is adorned with intricate relief decorative banding. Hand-crafted in Germany by Zoeller & Born.
