This is a AWESOME vintage Garden Party Summer Dress from the 1940's to 1950's era.

The dress features Orange and Silver glass beading throughout on the Butterflies, a sweetheart neckline with contrasting Mango color piping on the neckline and around the arm openings.

There is an Orange crinoline underneath and a side zipper with a hook and eye clasp at the top. (see pic 8)

No one else will have a dress quite like you as this is one of a kind, beautifully handmade by someone with some serious sewing skills.

It is made of Taffeta I believe or possibly rayon and features colors of Mango, Dark Chocolate and Black for contrast against a creamy White background.

Like many dresses of this era, it is cut to accentuate and celebrate the curves of a woman's body.

It has a very "Stepford wife" vibe.

Below are the measurements taken with the garment laying flat and unstretched:

Shoulder to shoulder ~ 32"

Bust ~ Up to 36"

Waist~ Up to 25" comfortably

Top of shoulder to hem ~ 46"

Waist to hem ~ 30"

Based on the measurements is a medium.

Please be sure to take your measurements as vintage items often ran small and there is no give in this fabric.

This dress was photographed using a crinoline to display how the skirt flares.

Condition: It is in great vintage condition with a one imperfection and that is a small droplet on the skirt. (see last pic)

This dress has not been washed or dry cleaned but I would recommend it.
