Singapore scenery-“Red “China orders Town

Come once a year during the Chinese lunar year period the whole China Town will come alive with New Year decorations, lights, make shift stores selling merchandise for the Lunar New Year .

One month before the Lunar New Year the streets will be filled with locals together with bus load of tourists to eat, shopping or simply to soak into the festive atmosphere.

RED colour which to the Chinese signify Good Luck will be felt everywhere . From street lanterns , red packets , clothing and Lunar New Year decorative items .

This enchanting mood will last about a month right to the eve of orders Lunar New Year where everyone will gather for a reunion dinner among family members .

In the earlier time when fire crackers was permitted it was a great sight to see the whole streets filled with red coloured papers plus the thunderous cracker sounds to make one feels this special festive mood .
