Pattern orders - Florabella - 38" x 55"

The pattern Florabella is 38" by 55". It is drawn by hand with black sharpie on primitive linen. This pattern has a 4" to 5" border around the design to allow for placing on your rug hooking frame. It is finished with a zig zag stitch to prevent fraying and is created in a smoke free environment. A color photo of the finished rug is enclosed with the pattern to aid in color planning.This pattern on Linen does NOT include wool for hooking.

I hooked this design using 8 and 8.5 cut wool strips but it could be done in a more traditional manner using 5 or 6 cut strips. I especially love the border which I designed after researching French ceramic tiles. I love the flowers especially the poppies but I think the border really makes this orders rug unique.
