This is a 10-piece group of vintage (1970's) alabaster marble fruit. Made in Italy. Hand-carved and hand-painted.

This grouping practically sings! The colors are so warm and vibrant. Each piece being rich in details. The hand-painted finish to each is life-like and realistic. Their size could give them away; each piece is slightly smaller than the actual fruit.

This listing is not a “choice of”. It is for all 10 pieces! And, at a price that can't be passed up! What a pretty display piece this will be on a coffee table, entryway table or kitchen island.

Choose a rustic basket to nest them in for a vivid contrast. The alabaster fruit paired with the wicker will be a nice distinction.

Being marble, these pieces are weighty! The entire 10 piece set weighs almost nine pounds!

They are in very nice vintage condition. There are a few paint scuffs and paint voids on some pieces.

One of the pears had some marble missing near the stem. It has been filled in with ceramics paste and touched up with paint. See last photo. It still displays beautifully and could be nestled into the basket in such a way as to camouflage its minor flaw.
