Lake Louise orders Boathouse, Banff, Canada Acrylic Painting & Wood Burn Original Artwork

This is a mixed media piece of Lake Louise, Alberta. It is both wood burned and acrylic painted on a piece of pine wood that ranges in size from 7x11 inches to 24x36 inches.

This piece was inspired by a photo I took this summer while my wife and I were visiting Banff National Park. This one of the most famous lakes in all of Canada and its beautiful turquoise colour did not disappoint.

This art is made to order which means the final product may differ slightly from the images above.

My process to make these pieces is as follows:

Draw on the lines with pencil
Burn in the lines my wood burning tool
Paint in the spaces
Burn the edges of the wood with a torch
Seal the piece with a orders clear gloss covering

This artwork will be ready to hang with an attached hanging mechanism.
