Rare, Lovely, vintage Royal Doulton Reflection Series entitled Idle Hours designed by Alan Maslankowski, who at age 15, recognizing his future potential, Royal Doulton paid for his 5 years of schooling. During this period they accepted several of his animal models for production.After his schooling , Alan worked at the John Beswick Studio before pursuing a free lance career, but in 1990 returned to Doulton as a resident artist creating "The Wizard", etc and several child studies.
This piece features the image of a young girl lying down holding some flowers. She measures 12 1/4 "L X 3 1/4"W X 4 1/4"H.
