This lovely heavyweight, sturdy cotton ruffle is French and dates to 1890. I love the pattern! The ground tone is a soft aged white and orders the other colors in the print include a dark muted eggplant purple, a softer muted gray-lavender, and a deep berry red! This fabric would be fantastic for so many sewing projects - it would make beautiful pillows or could be used for small upholstery, lampshades, quilting, etc!

MEASUREMENTS: This wonderful textile measures approximately 22 inches by 78 inches.

CONDITION: This fabric has been left in as found, unwashed condition, but can be hand or machine washed and tumble dried. There is a seam running the width where the ruffle was pieced together using two separate lengths of fabric. There are a few very faint tiny rust marks, but otherwise, this fabric is in lovely condition!
