Mexico orders pre columbian pot

Circa general 200 bc to 200 ad...

...a beautiful and well proportioned handled pot with lovely pastille decorations on handles...bird tracks etching on belly...

...appears wax resist in the red patterning areas, and a finish indicating second firing...

...17 inches around belly, 4 1/2 inches orders high, 3 1/2 inches diameter opening across...no repairs

...resembles many pots from central America, but I believe this piece to be a very fine colima from mexico...
