Varsity Baby Chenille-It orders Quilt

This orders cute quilt has a larger size listed making it a cute Fathers Day gift or baby gift for baby and new daddy! The baby quilt measures 38” x 40”. It is made from a 100 percent cotton line of fabric designed by Sweetwater for Moda. The fabric has a sports theme in navy, yellow, red, green, and grey. The backing has a white background with multi-colored pennants.

The quilt is machine quilted. This makes the quilt durable for machine washing on a cold delicate cycle. I recommend using a Color Catcher in the wash so that bright colors won't bleed.

The batting used is a 80/20 polyester/cotton blend. It makes the quilt lay flatter and have the feel of an “old” quilt. The binding is a double binding where I machine sew the binding to the front, turned it to the back, and hand-stitched it in place.

I have used Chenille-It on the quilt to give it some interesting texture. The chenille-it is sewn on by machine. Then I wash and dry the quilt to “fluff” the chenille. I love the looks of it and babies seem to love it too!
