Panaji: Stating that media is not the forum through which one can claim a party ticket, BJP state president and Rajya Sabha MP Sadanand Shet Tanavade on Sunday asked the election aspirants to refrain from making any statements in the media over tickets for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Tanavade said the process for selection will begin in January. He pointed out that there is an internal party process for candidate selection.“ One can submit their claim for a ticket to the party but not through the media. Even I am not authorised to give a party ticket unless it is for the Zilla Panchayat election,” Tanavade said.
