Lucknow: A woman identified as Shanti Devi (36) died during a sterilization procedure at a camp held at the Ramanagar Community Health Centre in Barabanki on Friday.
The incident has sparked outrage as the family of the deceased alleged medical negligence and demanded a thorough investigation and action against the guilty persons.
Shanti Devi was administered an injection before the surgery, and her condition reportedly deteriorated rapidly within minutes.Despite attempts to revive her, she was referred to the district hospital and was finally declared dead.
