Ahmedabad: Ruhani Raj Asudani, the talented chess player from Gujarat, won the title at the 11th National Amateur Chess Championship in Jaipur. Ruhani delivered a commanding performance, scoring 7.5 points out of nine rounds. In the last two rounds, Ruhani defeated Karnataka’s Akshaya Sathi and then drew with Maharashtra’s Rashmika Maringanti to emerge the sole leader.tnn
